28 Jan EAvision J100 – Right Drone for the Job

IS big always the right way to go?
Here at EAVision Australia, we are eagerly awaiting the arrival of our first 2 EAVision J100's. With all of the attention that the J100 is getting in the US at the moment, it is definitely the flavor of the month right now. And, it is well deserved. We have been using EAVision drones for the past 4 years now, being early adopters of the hardware. From the very beginning, based on our experience with some of the competitors, it was obvious to us that it was a quality product.
The Trajectory of Agriculture Drone development has been going in one direction lately. All the main manufacturers are starting to push the limits in terms of lifting capacity and overall size. EAVision has been going down this path as well with the J150 just around the corner. While we completely agree with the need to support the capability to deliver large volumes of products at high flow rates, the larger drones come with an increase in complexity. The larger batteries require large, high-output generators, large volumes of water, etc, etc. Most of the time it will involve specialist trailer setups. On top of this very difficult for those single-person operations.
Through our service provider partner (proagco), we have conducted numerous jobs that have involved 4WD-only access in tight operating environments. We could not have done them without access to a smaller drone. So with this in mind, we are very excited to learn that after the J150, the next drone on offer from EAVision with be a little brother to the J100. Yet to be named and light on detail, but what we have been informed is a lightweight drone, 20 - 30lt capacity, and most importantly, sharing common components with its larger brothers.
We will keep you informed with all news related to the expansion of the EAVision product range. In the meantime, if you are looking for any further information, please get in touch using the link below.
